Mexico’s Car Rules

In Mexico City there are driving restrictions to improve the air quality in the city. This can also help prevent the pollution of the bad gases that come out of the car when it is driving. They made this rule because Mexico City is  kind of in a dome so all the pollution gets trapped. It works very well because the pollution has gone down a ton. The city is a lot safer and it helps prevent climate change which is really amazing because we only have one planet and we need to take care of it. The rule is that you are only allowed to drive on certain days and it depends on the last number on your license plate. If it is your day you are allowed to drive, but if it is not you are not allowed to drive at all. With the regulations being so successful, I feel like America should do that in its bigger cities because the pollution is worse in bigger cities. It will help keep earth the way it is and it will also prevent climate change. I feel like we should create more ways of travel that are good for the environment because it will help the cause of climate change. If we can create regulations in our bigger cities we will have a way cleaner earth. All in all, I believe Mexico City is doing a great thing for their city and I believe they are leading by example.
