Blog #2 Major

My major is criminal justice. I chose that major because it seems really interesting. There are so many jobs that are in the field of criminal justice. I have always wanted to be a cop because it seems way better than having a boring desk job where you do the same thing everyday. The show that really got me really interested in being a cop was Narcos. It was a T.V.  show about catching Pablo Escobar. It involved the DEA because Pablo Escobar was the world’s biggest cocaine dealer. The DEA worked really hard to try and catch Pablo Escobar and they eventually did when they shot him a couple of times. Another reason why I majored in criminal justice was because my dad is a detective for the LAPD. He has a lot of stories that make law enforcement seem super interesting. If I did not choose criminal justice as my major I would have chosen kinesiology. I really love working out and eating right so that would have been a good second choice. I would have loved to learn about the different muscle groups and what they do. I would have loved to get to know about nutriten because I want to learn how to eat better and how to eat when you want to gain or lose wait. If money was not a factor, I would want to be a professional athlete because then I would be doing the thing that I love to do.
